Office of the Clerk
The Clerk or, in their absence, the Deputy Clerk, under the directive of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, shall exercise supervision and control over the members of staff of the National Assembly. It shall also be lawful for the Clerk to delegate in writing any of their powers of supervision and control over other members of the Staff to the Deputy Clerk.
The Office of the Clerk comprises of a Clerk to the House of Representatives and the Senate, and a Deputy Clerk to the House of Representatives and the Senate, inclusive of the support staff.
